Lincoln Dale Palecek

Lincoln D. Palecek, age 87, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday November 13, 2012 at Park View Health Center. He was born on February 12, 1925 in the Town of Poygan a son of Joseph and Rosina Seffern Palecek. On June 26, 1948 he married Pearl Langlitz in Oshkosh.Lincoln worked for Wisconsin Public Service for 38 years. He was a Boy Scout Leader and Cub Scout Leader, and enjoyed doing the Polka. After retiring he moved to Florida for 13 years and returned to Oshkosh in 1994.He is survived by his wife Pearl, his son Douglas(Maria) his daughter Cathleen(David) Hursh all of Oshkosh, three sisters Betty Sedarski of Berlin, Shirley(Ron) Drews of Fremont, Delores(John) Willis of GA., his grandchildren Brandon, Derek, Lori, Joslene, JoJo, Eva, and one great-grandchild Ashley Palecek.He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Marvin, Alvin, Edward, two sisters Edna and Lucile.A memorial service for Lincoln will be held on Friday November 16, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel. Inurnment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.The Palecek family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Park View Health Center for their fabulous care of Lincoln.
