Lois E. Boelter

Lois E. Boelter, age 94, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday January 5, 2010 at Northpoint Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 28, 1915 in Oshkosh a daughter of William and Erna Schuttler Wrasse. One June 8, 1939 she married Arden Boelter in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1973.She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ where she was active in the Fellowship league and the Women's Guild. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, crafts and was a member of the Gem and Mineral Club.She is survived by one daughter Betsy(Jim) Hoffman, one brother Bill(Fleurette) Wrasse, one sister Shirley(Bob) Stauffer all of Oshkosh, step-grandchildren Christine(Jeff) Korth, Cathie Hoffman, Jeff(Angie) Hoffman, four step-grandchildren, one daughter-in-law Joanne Boelter, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, one son Lee Boelter, one brother Neil Wrasse and her parents.Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 9, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Emmauel United Church of Christ with Rev. Linda Kuhn officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be at Peace Lutheran Cemetery.A memorial has been established.The family would like to thank the staff of Northpoint Medical and Rehabilitation Center for their care of Lois.
