Lois Mae Hintz

Lois M. Hintz, 87, of Oshkosh died Saturday January 19, 2013 at her apartment in Carmel Residence. She was born May 1, 1925 in the Town of Scott, Columbia County, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Robert and Nellie (Cuff) Barden. She married Orion F. Hintz on June 16, 1962 in Pardeeville, WI. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2002. Lois was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She had worked at the First National Bank and then at Wisconsin National Life. She was a former member of the Homemakers Club and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Lois is survived by a daughter, Beverly (Sherman) Warner of Salisbury, NC; a son, Fred (Michelle) Hintz of Freeport, IL; two grandsons, Adam and Tyler Hintz of Freeport, IL; and a brother, Robert (JoAnn) Barden of Pierre, SD. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil and Orris Barden. A funeral service for Lois is being held Wednesday January 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church (761 Florida Ave Oshkosh), Rev. Jakes Voker officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established to Wesley United Methodist Church.
