Lorna Louise Spiering

Lorna L. Spiering, 84, of Oshkosh died Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Evergreen-Creekview. She was born February 12, 1930, in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Frank and Norma Ruechel. Lorna married John Spiering on June 30, 1950, in Oshkosh and he preceded her in death on April 12, 1997. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and yahtzee.Lorna is survived by two daughters, Joyce Cartwright of Oshkosh and Joan (Rodger) Shelley of New London; two sons, Daniel Spiering of Shawano and David (Debra) Spiering of Van Dyne; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Ila Mae (Ralph) Mathison; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gordon (Marie) Ruechel and Edgar (Loretta) Ruechel; and a daughter-in-law, Connie Spiering.A memorial service for Lorna will be held Monday, June 16, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside, Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the service. Inurnment will be in Scheller Cemetery.
