Lorrayne Agnes Steinfort

Lorrayne Larry A. Steinfort, age 85 of Oshkosh, died at Aurora Medical Center on Monday February 21, 2011. She was born in Fond du Lac on July 5, 1925, daughter of the late Raymond and Leila Foster Buchanan. She married Gilbert Polishinski in 1944 and he preceded her in death. She married Richard L. Steinfort on August 13, 1955 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1987.Along with Richard she operated Carol & Dicks Bar. Afterwards she was a cook at UW-Oshkosh until her retirement. She enjoyed cake decorating, crocheting and painting.Survivors include two sons, Michael (Sandy) Polishinski, Oshkosh; William (Debbie) Steinfort, Coloma; one daughter, Gloria (Duane Peerenboom) Drexler-Peerenboom, Oshkosh; eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gilbert, husband Richard, son Robert Steinfort, stepson Norman Steinfort, stepdaughter, Shirley Augusberger; two brothers, three sisters and a grand daughter, Christine Drexler.Visitation will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Eastside on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A memorial has been established.
