Maria Lynette Fenzl

November 28, 2011 — November 29, 2011

Maria Lynette Fenzl, newborn daughter of J. C. and Sonya Fenzl, was born on November 28th, 2011 and passed away peacefully in her mothers arms in the early morning hours of November 29th, 2011. Maria bravely fought for hours, but the complications from her delivery were too much to overcome. She had her mothers silky black hair and nose, her fathers mouth, and the presence of an angel. Although Maria was suddenly taken from us, she still had some memorable times. While still hitching a ride from her Mom she attended three Packer games, four Brewer games, and boogied at three concerts, ZZ Top, 311, and the Bodeans. Maria is survived by her parents, J. C. and Sonya Fenzl; grandparents Chris and Debbie Fenzl and Dale and Cheri Lemke; great-grandparents Herman and Millie Jolitz, Marion Kalsky, Dale Sr. and Betty Lemke, and Bill and Marge Siercks; and uncles Jeremy, Damon, Jake, Niel, and Josh. She was preceded in death by great-grandparents Max Fenzl, Tom Kalsy, Brad Ruckman, and Neil and Maria McAuly, and uncle Curt. Our family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and utmost respect to Kate, Nicole, and the dozens of doctors and nurses at Aurora Medical Center that battled for hours to save our Maria, to the Theda Clark Emergency Transport EMT staff, and to the staff of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin. In particular we would like to thank Dr. Debbie, this amazing womans comforting bedside manner and her calm and soothing voice made the most agonizing decision of our lives as dignified as humanly possible. God Bless all of you. We also know that the pain and sorrow we suffer from today will someday be replaced by joy. Through Marias organ and tissue donations, we believe that it was her mission and her destiny to save other children and to spare other families the agony of losing a child. Maria will be laid to rest in the Chapel of Faith at Lake View Memorial Park, near her great-grandpa Max, great-grandpa Tom and uncle Curt. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Lake View Memorial Park on Monday Dec. 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. Maria will always be in our hearts.
