Marian C. Wood, 92, of Oshkosh, died Sunday April 15, 2007 at Heartland House in Wautoma. She was born March 21, 1915 in Oshkosh a daughter of Albert and Caroline Yorty Frohrib. On June 24, 1939 she married MelvinBud Wood in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death in 1969.She was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ where she was the church secretary for over 30 years. She taught Sunday School at St. Pauls UCC and helped organize the Oshkosh High School Class of 32 reunions. She was the office manager of Woods Flowers.She is survived by three sons Ronald(Karen) Wood of Indianapolis, Dr. Gary(Pauline) Wood of Wautoma, Dr. Gregory(Loretta) Wood of Port Deposit, MD., one brother Darrell(Betty) Frohrib of St. Paul, MN., six grandchildren, Susan(Eddie) Bird of Indianapolis, Steven Wood of Indianapolis, Emory Wood of Appleton, Kristi Wood of Wautoma, Melissa Wood of Port Deposit, Md., Nicole Wood of Port Deposit, MD., nine great-grandchildren, Brandon, Levi, Riley, Walker, Samantha, Brian, BreeAnn, Mercedes, Maxwell. She was preceded in death by one sister Margaret Strong.Funeral services will be held on Friday April 20, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Pauls United Church of Christ with Rev. Greg Smith officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening April 19, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-West and again on Friday at the church from noon until the time of the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.A memorial has been established to St. Agnes Hospice.A special thank you to Heartland House for care given to Marian.
