Marilyn J. Anderson, age 79, of Oshkosh, formerly of Illinois, died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Bethel Home. She was born on June 30, 1936 in Stickney, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Myrtle Meyer Ulman. On August 21, 1954, she married Carl Anderson in Berwyn, Illinois.Marilyn was a graduate of Morton East High School in Berwyn, IL, and enjoyed square dancing, needlepoint, knitting and crocheting. She was the secretary and office manager at a retirement village in Highpoint, FL, and she partnered with Carl in establishing Anderson Printing Company in Chicago.She is survived by her husband Carl, her children, Deborah (Timothy) Greenwald, William Anderson, David (Linda) Anderson, Karin (Mark) Lewis, Susan (David) Thomas, grandchildren Jason, Michael, Timothy and Sarah Greenwald; Jillian Nichols, Corinne David, Brad Anderson; Christopher, Jim, Aubrey and Ian Anderson; Andrew, Charlie, Mathew, Jeffrey, and Ben Lewis; Nick and Robert Thomas; great-grandchildren James, Zachary, Milena, Charles Joseph (CJ), Teagan, Greyson, Mikayla, Nathaniel, Sophia, Alexander, Aurora, Jonah, and Juliana, brother William(Marge) Ulman, brother-in-law Arthur(Joann) Anderson, sister-in-law Ann Asciutto, and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law Barbara Anderson, grandson Thomas Anderson and brother-in-law Alfred Asciutto.A memorial service for Marilyn will be held on Saturday December 5, 2015 at noon at First English Lutheran Church (1013 Minnesota St.) with Rev. Martin Ruge and Rev. Tim Greenwald officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.The family would like to thank the staff at Bethel Home for their compassionate care of Marilyn and kindness toward Carl.
