Marion J. (nee Nygard), 88, 210 N. Westfield, Apt. 266, Oshkosh, died Saturday, January 28, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center.She was born on Oct. 14, 1917, in rural North Dakota, a daughter of the late Herbert Nygard and Ellen (Johnson) Nygard. Marion married Donald Karl Wojahn in North Dakota at West Prairie Lutheran Church on August 18, 1939. They spent their married life in Oshkosh.Marion was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She spent many hours at the side of her husband in his business, W & W Electric, where she served as Vice President. She actively volunteered in groups such as Meals on Wheels and Grace Circle. She enjoyed participating in the activities of her Homemakers Club. She was especially skilled in needlework and enjoyed many other crafts.She is survived by her husband of 66 years; her brother, Paul (Mary) Nygard, Argonne, WI; four children, Virginia (Ben) Reehl, Mayville, WI; Phyllis (Richard) Reid, Rotonda West, FL; Kathryn (Brian) Derry, Bayfield, CO, David Wojahn of Oshkosh; six grandchildren: Eric, Rebecca, Kristen, Joel, Aaron, and Spencer; nine great-grandchildren; and seven godchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers—Howard, Verne, Merle, and Robert.Viewing at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home West on Wednesday, Feb. 1, will take place from 11:30 until the service which will begin at 1:30 p.m. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Bethel Home or Grace Lutheran Church of Oshkosh.
