Marjorie Henrietta Larson

Marjorie H. Larson, 97, of Oshkosh died Friday May 22, 2009 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born March 1, 1912 in Pickett a daughter of the late Henry and Olga Kloehn Miller. Marjorie married Robert Rusty Larson on October 7, 1933. He preceded her in death on October 23, 1980. Marjorie worked for the Paul Redeman Ins. and John Mathwig & Sons. She was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, its Dorcas Circle, and Trinity Sociables. With her husband she owned and operated Rustys Supper Club in Oshkosh for 34 years. She enjoyed her flower garden, card clubs, and scrabbling with Lorraine. Her survivors include two sons Robert G. Larson of Oshkosh and William D. (Karen) Larson of Oshkosh, and Karens sons Christopher Brown of Appleton and Matthew Brown of Oshkosh; a sister Erna Zahn of New Ulm, MN; a special friend Lorraine Dumais; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister Adeline Swope and a brother Herbert Miller. A funeral service for Marjorie will be held Tuesday May 26, 2009 at 4:00 PM at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Rev. Marvin Ahlborn officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 2:00 PM until the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church.
