Marvin Frederick Schwebke

August 24, 1928 — January 17, 2019

Marvin F. Schwebke, age 90, of Oshkosh, died Thursday January 17, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on August 24, 1928 in the Town of Eldorado a son of Frederick and Esther Zimmerman Schwebke.
In his youth he was baptized and confirmed St. Paul’s Lutheran Church attended Maple Grove School and St. Paul’s Lutheran School with his brother Eldor. He is a veteran of the United States Army where he served as a Sargeant in the Korean War, and worked for 42 years at Morgan Doors as a blade grinder where he rarely missed a day of work. He enjoyed bowling, playing in the Lutheran Dart League, visiting antique malls and collecting beer memorabilia.
He is survived by his daughter Debra Schwebke, his sister Dolores, two god sons Alan Augsburger, Douglas Smith, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Keith, and his brother Eldor.
Funeral services for Marvin will be held on Monday January 21, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. John Seelman officiating. Visitation will be held the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Eldorado.
