Mary E Sibley

March 15, 1943 — December 25, 2020

Mary E. Sibley, age 77, of Oshkosh, died at her home after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family, friends, and caregivers. Mary was born in Oshkosh on March 15, 1943 to the late Marvin and Marion (Clarke) Sibley. Mary was a part of the 1961 Oshkosh High School graduation class. Over the years she worked at several places in the Oshkosh area making many friends along the way. She also enjoyed volunteer work and many various activities. Her true passion was the Packers, she was an avid fan and loved talking about them.
Mary is survived by her sister Carol and also Sue Rhyner whom Mary thought of as her sister. She is further survived by a niece, Lori Budzien and nephew Jeff Sibley along with her special friends Laura and Lance Grulke and their family. Friends, Kathy Dahlke and Jeanne Jacobs along with other family and many loving friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Warren Sibley, her sister-in-law, Mary Ann Sibley and her nephew, Rick Sibley.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the loving caregivers at Home Care Assistance. Their loving care, support and devotion went far beyond our expectations, we will always be grateful to them for the love, compassion and the dignity and friendship they gave Mary and her family. We are also thankful to Aurora Hospice for their support and services.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that any memorials be directed to a charity of your choice.
Due to COVID-19, a private celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date.
