Mary J. Schilcher

Mary Jane Schilcher passed away on November 18, 2019. She was the only daughter of Alfred and Agnes (Robl) Schilcher, born on December 11, 1931. Mary was educated in Oshkosh and spent 37 years teaching school; five years in rural Winnebago County and thirty-two in the Neenah School District. She was a proud member of Kappa Delta Gamma and the Wisconsin Retired Teachers’ Association. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and going to yard sales. Mary also devoted her time to the homebound and volunteered with various organizations throughout the community. Mary is preceded in death by eight brothers: Norbert, John, Alvin, Leonard, Lawrence, Clifford, and Sylvester. Survivors include one brother, Norman, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish- St. Mary’s Site, 605 Merritt Ave. with Fr. Jerry Pastors as Celebrant. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
