Mary Jo Floyd

Mary Jo Floyd, age 68, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. She was born in Peshtigo, WI on October 2, 1954, to the late Lawrence Sr. and Bernice (Wilhelms) Floyd.

Mary is a part of a large family she loved very much! She is the youngest of 9 siblings, had 2 children and cherished an extended family. Nieces and nephews viewed Mary as their second mom.

Mary was a caregiver. For many years she served as an adult care provider in her home. She then ventured out into Home Care and ultimately, for many years, managed a home taking care of three individuals that would become like family to her. In her retirement, she served as a volunteer at Mercy Medical Center.

Her favorite things were the Packers, bird watching, the game show network, CSI Shows (all of them), Hallmark Christmas Movies all year round, Bingo, Christmas and traveling.

Mary is survived by her son, Doug Rousar; brothers: Dennis Floyd, Roy (Jo) Floyd, Roger “Rog” (Barb) Floyd; sister, Jean Salzman; and former spouse and good friend, Chris Kabke. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Rousar; parents, Lawrence Sr. and Bernice Floyd; brothers: Lawrence “Chuck” Floyd, Earl Floyd; sisters: Ruth Eiring, Ellen “Ellie” Sobralski, and infant sister Eileen.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh. Visitation will take place on Monday at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
