Mary L. Schwedt, 57, of Oshkosh died Monday February 18, 2013, at Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee. She was born June 30, 1955 in Oshkosh.Mary married George Schwedt on October 14, 1995 in Oshkosh. She had worked at Kwik Trip as a baker for numerous years which she loved immensely. She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church. She loved working in the garden and collecting stuffed hedgehogs. Most of all she loved being a grandma and spending time with the grandchildren and her time at the land.Mary is survived by her husband, George; two sons, Ken Rucks (significant other, Sandy Wagner) and Michael Schwedt; two grandchildren, Chloe Rucks and Ethan Leiter and their mother a special friend, Sharon; a brother, Richard (Mary) Capen; two sisters, Sharon Mineo and Karen Hagen; nephew Franco (Kristin) Mineo and their son, Giovanni; Niece, Tina Peden and other nieces and nephews; Onkel Helfried and Stasi Renner; family and friends in Germany; friends, Wayne Heinzl, Bruce and Kay Stelzner, Charles and Elizabeth Luebke and Chad Wiechert, Juanita Amos; her special family at Kwik Trip and Robin Walders. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Capen; a brother, Jim Capen; and a beloved grandson, Declan, Gross Oma and Oma and Opa Schwedt.A funeral mass for Mary will be held Saturday February 23, 2013, at noon at St. Raphael Catholic Church, Rev. Doug LeCaptain officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service.Marys family would like to thank the medical professionals at Froedtert Hospital and her employer, Kwik Trip for the care and concern during her illness.
