A memorial to Most Blessed Sacrament Church has been established. Mary was a special person who was kind, caring and loved by all who she touched. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She took great joy in spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Starting with her first grandchild in 1964 to her three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren she dedicated her life to their happiness. She always gave of herself and loved her family immensely. Her passions in life other than family included a life long devotion to God and the Catholic Church, cooking, gardening, playing cards. She will be greatly missed and a large void has been created never to be filled by anyone else. Few people could ever possess a more pure love of family, unselfish kindness, and simple joy of life. She gave everyone she knew (especially her family) a gift of love and touched our lives as if by the hand of God. She prayed constantly for others and helped our lives as a living angel. Now with the Lord, Grandma Mary (and Grandpa George) will forever be with us in spirit watching over her children knowing she planted a seed for us to love one another the way she did. Her work on earth is complete and we are all blessed to have known her. Special thanks to the entire staff at Mercy Medical Center for the loving care during the last six weeks and to Drs Curtis Radford and Robert Weber for their excellent care the past several years. Mary wanted to live at home during her illness and with the help of care givers Donna Shepherd, Sylvia Karrow, Sheila Fink, and Judy Reinders, was able to do so until the last six weeks of her life. Thank you to Sr. Diane Faust, Fr. James Jugenheimer, Chaplain Ron Michels, Tina Schulte, and all the nuns at Franciscan Courts for their prayers and support.
