Maurine B. Raymond, age 86, of Oshkosh, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at her home. She was born on April 4, 1925 in Mason City, Iowa a daughter of Earl and Minnie Leaman. On January 15, 1944 she married Dale Raymond in Mason City, Iowa. A former resident of Berlin, Maurine has resided in Oshkosh for the past 48 years. She enjoyed working at Miles Kimball and JC Penney. Her outgoing personality and caring for others were strong traits admired by many. Maurine was a member of Algoma Boulevard United Methodist Church.She will be missed by her husband Dale, children Dave, Sandy (Bruce), Joy (Jerry), and Becky (Skip); grandchildren Scott, Joyel, Bart (Kim), Jannelle (Kirk), Liz, Kaia and Hannah; great grandchildren Katlin, Paige, Tyler, Nathan, Katie, Bryce, Libby and Jake. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Earl Leaman Jr.A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside in Oshkosh, with the Rev. Barry Yarbro officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The family wishes to thank the staff at Mercy Medical Center and the Agnesian Hospice staff as well for the wonderful and compassionate care that Maurine received.
