Michael G. Fuzzy Bond, age 48, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 surrounded by his loving family and close friends. He was born on April 18, 1966 in Joplin, Missouri, the son of Julie and Sharon Bond. Michael graduated from the University of Missouri with a BS in Education in 1989 and MS in Education in 1991 and along the way met people who became his closest lifelong friends. He was united in marriage on June 24, 1995 to Michelle Shelly Michalski in Festus, Missouri; their marriage was blessed with two beautiful children. Mike was a middle school and high school instructor of Technology Education in Missouri for 12 years and upon moving to Wisconsin was a high school instructor of Technology Education for Appleton School District for another 12 years. He enjoyed every minute of teaching and interacting with his students.Mike was a family man who enjoyed going to his childrens activities, fishing with his dad and working in the yard. He was a handyman who excelled at carpentry. Mike truly enjoyed watching football with friends and proudly rocked a black belt in Tae Kwon Do one month before he was diagnosed with the cancer that eventually took his life and our hearts.Mike Bond was a man of honor, loyalty and integrity. He was famous for the forlorn 'Awwwwww' that he moaned whenever his revered Mizzou Tigers or Kansas City Chiefs made a mistake. Mike never hurt or judged and he always forgave. He dedicated his life to his family and marriage to Shelly Michalski. He leaves behind a devastated family and a devoted group of friends who know that the world was not so rich that it could afford the loss of our beloved Foo.Michael is survived by his loving wife of 19 years Shelly, two children: Sophia Miranda and Martin John Bond, his father, Julie Bond of Bolivar, MO; two beloved corgis: Jacks and Murray Bond; grandmother, Julia Bond of Frontenac, KS; parents-in-law, Jerry and Barbara Michalski of Beach Park, IL, brother-in-law, Michael Michalski of Brown Deer, WI; and is further survived by many amazing friends who enriched his life beyond measure. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Bond.Services will be on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. with Reverend April Kain-Breese officiating. Visitation will occur from 11:00 am until the 1:00 PM service. A memorial is being established for their childrens college fund.
