Michael G. Smerz

Michael G. Smerz, age 60, died unexpectedly in his home in Madison, Wisconsin. He was born May 12, 1960 to William and Joyce Smerz in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Mike graduated from Green Bay Southwest High School and attended UW-Madison. Mike worked in Madison at various capacities such as maintenance and grounds keeping. He has a fondness of animals especially cats and dogs. He made people happy with his infectious words of kindness.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Bill Smerz.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Smerz; brother, Jim Smerz; and sister, Patty (Steve) Tschech.
A private service will be held.
