Michael J Lee

Michael J. Lee, age 55, passed away at Aurora St. Luke’s in Milwaukee on December 21, 2021. He was born to Jim Lee, of Wausau, and Marie Adams, of Stevens Point, on November 27, 1966, in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Mike graduated from Wausau East High School in 1985. He went on to attend University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, University of Wisconsin La Crosse, and University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. While attending college, Mike discovered his love of music. Michael was a musician and guitar teacher and taught at Heid Music and Henri Music store as well as at his own studio. Michael married Lynn Roney on October 17, 2014, in Oshkosh Wisconsin. He enjoyed playing guitar and loved being outside playing frisbee golf or just hanging out with friends. He loved anything to do with his jeep. He also greatly loved bonding with his daughter, Rachel, over music. Even though Mike would describe himself as quiet, Mike was known to be the life of any party or room he was in.
Mike is survived by his wife, Lynn; daughter, Rachel; parents, Jim Lee, and Marie Adams; stepchildren, Nathan, and Breanna Hutton; as well as close friend Ginger Torine. Mike is further survived by his father-in-law Raymond Roney; mother-in-law, Lois Roney; sister-in-law, Diane Wilker; and nephews, Hayden and Brady Wilker.
Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Christopher Lee.
A service for Mike will be held at Konrad-Behlman Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr) on Sunday January 16, 2022, at Noon. A visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of service. The family has requested that those attending please wear masks.
