Michael N. Stowe

Michael N. Stowe, age 40, of Oshkosh, died unexpectedly early Tuesday morning, September 9, 2008. He was born on December 26, 1967 in Oshkosh, the son of Larry and Arlene Stowe. He enjoyed the outdoors, and was an active boy scout throughout his youth. He was a graduate of Oshkosh West High School. Employed by First Supply (formerly H.W. Theis) for over 20 years, Mike served as branch manager for the last three years. He was a talented guitarist, singer/songwriter, and recording artist. He performed publicly throughout the Fox Valley area as a member of several bands for 25 years. Mikes greatest passions were his family and his music.Mike was a devoted husband and father, and a loving son. He was a longtime active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he served as an usher. He married Christine Nelson on June 25, 1988, and they had two children together, Zachary and Alyssa. He loved animals, especially his cat, Punkin, and two dogs, Casey and Cozmo. In addition to making music, Mike enjoyed cooking, watching the Green Bay Packers, and working with computers in his spare time.Mike is survived by his wife, Christine, son Zachary, and daughter Alyssa, both at home. He is further survived by his parents, Larry and Arlene Stowe, his brother, Daniel Stowe (fiance Jennifer), all from Oshkosh, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 11am at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Reverend David Pagel will officiate. Committal services will follow at Lake View Memorial Park. Friends and relatives are welcome at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside on Friday, September 12, 2008, from 4 – 8pm, and Saturday, September 13, 2008, from 9 – 11am at Immanuel Lutheran Church.Immanuel Lutheran Church338 N.
