Mildred Alma Oelke

Mildred A. Oelke, 90, of Oshkosh, formerly of Princeton, died at Aurora Medical Center on Thursday January 4, 2007. She was born in the Town of Seneca, Green Lake County, on June 21, 1916, the daughter of Adolph and Gena Prachel. Mildred married Clarence Oelke on Nov. 15, 1941 in Princeton. He preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1993. Mildred lived in Princeton until 1988 and was a former member of St. John Lutheran Church. She was also a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Prior to her death, she resided with her daughter, June Oelke. Survivors include four daughters, Abbie (Sam) Carter of West Allis, Sharon (Fred) Kaping of Beaver Dam, Nancy (John) Stuhr of Menomonee Falls, and June Oelke of Oshkosh; four grandchildren Kerri Miller, Brian Carter, Michelle Ladwig, and Heather Pagel; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Irene Weiss, Leona Luedtke, and Elsie Prachel. Funeral services for Mildred will be held on Monday Jan. 8, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-East, Rev. Walter Moll Officiating. Family and friends may call at the Waugoo Ave funeral home on Monday from 10 AM until the service. Burial will be in Memory Hill Cemetery, Princeton. Mildreds family would like to thank the staff on 2 North at Aurora Medical Center for their special care.
