Mildred E. Boye

Mildred E. Boye, age 87 of Oshkosh, passed away at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. She was born on January 26, 1932 to the late James and Addie (Finnemore) Brewer. Mildred married Roger Boye in 1995.
Mildred worked various jobs throughout her life. She especially liked working as a bartender at The Fountain Tavern, dairy farming in Omro, working at the old Mercy Hospital and Miles Kimball. Mildred also dedicated a number of years of her life to being a foster parent. Mildred enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, baking, and decorating her home, but most of all she loved spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Mildred is lovingly survived by her husband Roger Boye; son, Arthur Carpenter; daughter, Suzie (Mark) Robinson; step-daughters, Cathy (Gary) Griese and Connie McBrair; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special nieces, Margie Ritschke and Sherri Bartow; close family friends, Lisa Pollom and Danielle Bryant.
Mildred was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Carpenter; grandson, Kyle; granddaughter, Addie; brothers, Lawrence, George, Barry, John, Jake, Donnie, Richard and Edward; sister, Jeannette.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd. A visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
