Mildred Louise Beese

Milly ended her 19 year battle with Alzheimers disease on August 9, 2008 at Park View Health Center.She was born in Memphis, TN on March 29, 1930 the daughter of Jesse James and Minnie Lee (Holly) Alderson. In February 1953 she met Bob Beese in Corpus Christi, TX and on December 22, 1953 the Tennessee Belle married the country boy from Wisconsin, a marriage that will last through eternity.Milly was a kind, generous, loving person, devoted to her family. She had a great sense of humor. Milly was fond of children, small dogs and cats. She enjoyed traveling, visiting all 48 lower states and northern Mexico. Her travels helped her add to her collection of plates, dolls and unicorns. She enjoyed classic country music and had a large number of records of her favorites. Milly worked as a Nurses Aid at Sweet Nursing Home and at Marion Manor. She also worked at Jess & Nicks Pizza for several years.Milly was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ernest Alderson, her sisters, Lily Marie (Harry) Long, Bessie Lee Alderson and Kay (Don) Jones, her daughter, Dorothy (Dennis) Murphy and her son, Roger Beese.Milly is survived by her husband, Bob; her daughters, Deanna (Gary) Lichtfuss and Karen Beese Schuhart; sons, Robert Jr. and Richard Beese. She is also survived by grandchildren, Robert Griswold, Deidre Kunz, Jim Kunz, April Beese, Rikki Beese, Randal Beese, Robert Schuhart, Roger Schuhart, Justin (Autumn) Beese and Zandra (David) Kopitsky; three great grandchildren, Poppi and Ruthy Beese and Devon Kopitsky and their grandmother, Renee Beese. Milly is further survived by her brother-in-law, Bill (Judy Ostberg) Beese and her good friend Kathy Budwig.Milly will be remembered with a private family service and entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.Words cannot truly express the gratitude the family feels for the excellent care the Lake Side staff at Park View Health Center gave Milly over the years. It was very comforting to the family to know she was in such good hands. Thank You!
