Milton F. Neumann

Milton F. Neumann, age 99, of Oshkosh died Monday October 22, 2012 at Bethel Home. He was born July 4, 1913 in Oshkosh the son of the late Fredrick and Elizabeth (Falk) Neumann. He married Lucile Wollenburg on April 13, 1940 in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on July 25, 2011. Milton had worked at American Excelsior for many years until his retirement. He then bought P & L Company and made hickory nut crackers. He was a current member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was a former longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where he was baptized, confirmed, and very active in many activities. Milton is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Thomas) Joyce of Antioch, IL and Beverly Neumann of Oshkosh; two sons, Rev. David (Joleen) Neumann of Pueblo West, CO and Daniel (Maxine) Neumann of Hartland, WI; a sister, Marion Hartman of Oshkosh; nine grandchildren, Rev. Michael (Angela) Neumann, Jessica Neumann, Jennifer Joyce, Carolyn (Paul) Schafer, Charissa (Craig) Breitkreutz, Rev. Joel (Rachel) Neumann, Elisabeth Neumann, Rebecca Neumann, and Jonathan Neumann; and eleven great-grandchildren, Emily, Catharine, Olivia, Hannah, Malachi, Isabel, Noah, and Sophia Neumann, Brett, Caitlynn, and Emily Breitkreutz. He is further survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Boettner. A funeral service for Milton will be held (today) Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church (338 N. Eagle St.), Rev. David Pagel officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial is being established to the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
