Myrtle Della Rosanske

Myrtle D. Rosanske, 98, of Oshkosh died Sunday April 13, 2008 at Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born in Poy Sippi, WI, on November 26, 1909 a daughter of Charles and Della Davis Werner. On September 2, 1939 she married Walter Rosanske in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on June 8, 2006.With her husband she owned and operated Werners Grocery in Oshkosh for 43 years. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Oshkosh and had served on the mailing staff. She and Walter had belonged to the Christian Fellowship Society and she also was a former member of the Bethel Home Auxiliary.Myrtle is survived by her daughter, Carol (Dennis) Eichman of Muskego, WI; two sons, Thomas (Patricia) Rosanske of Overland Park, KS, Richard (Alicia) Rosanske of Tallahassee, FL; seven grandchildren, Tera (Kent) Kasch, Todd Eichman, Jamie (Nick) Kosobucki, Chad Eichman, Matthew Rosanske, Rebecca (Nathan) Tolbert, and Rachel Rosanske; and two great grandchildren, Klint and Kylie Kasch. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Arleigh, and Lyle Werner; and by a sister, Fern Werner.Her funeral will be Friday April 18, 2008 beginning at 12:00 (Noon) at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home - Westside with Rev. Tim Greenwald officiating. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.The family wishes to thank the staffs at Sharehaven and Creekview South of Evergreen Retirement Community for the excellent care provided for Myrtle over the past two years.
