Myrtle Marion Nicolaison

July 14, 1935 — March 15, 2008

Myrtle M. Nicolaison, 72, of Oshkosh died Saturday March 15, 2008 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born July 14, 1935 in Oshkosh a daughter of Max L. and Viola Schiessl. Myrtle was raised in Nordheim, went to Nordheim School and Oshkosh High School. She married Arnold Nicolaison who preceded her in death in 1995. Myrtle was employed at SNC and Square D Company until her retirement. She enjoyed taking care of her grandniece Alaina, whom she loved very much. She is survived by two sisters Maxine Walter of Birmingham, AL and Olivian (Lance) Wilde of Omro; four brothers Daniel Schiessl of Carlisle, PA, William Schiessl of Oshkosh, John (Carol) Schiessl of Oshkosh, and Don Schiessl of Appleton; and many nieces and nephews. Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Kirk Ellis Nicolaison, and two brothers Stanley and Max Schiessl. Memorial services for Myrtle will be held Wednesday March 26, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Eastside, Myrtles nephew Rev. Don Parker will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1 PM until the service. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society. Myrtles family would like to thank Dr. Zahid Dar, Dr. Steven Blaha, and the staff in the Oncology Dept. at Aurora Medical Center for all their help and care. Myrtle will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
