Nancy Jean Hyler

September 13, 1960 — September 16, 2021

Nancy J. Hyler, age 61, passed away with family by her side on September 16, 2021, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born in Oshkosh on September 13, 1960, to the late Walter and Gladys (Cornelius) Sundquist.

Nancy was a loving servant of the Lord, mother, grandma, sister, and friend. Her beautiful smile lit up any room. Most importantly she treated her family and anyone in her life with unconditional love. Nancy loved to go on road trips, camping, and craft shows with her family. She also enjoyed making jewelry, cooking, baking, and loved to make people laugh. Her sense of humor is what she was known for, and her laugh was infectious. She loved Christmas and everything about it. She enjoyed growing in her Christian faith. She loved her family with all her heart. Her son, Ken and her daughter, Tracy meant everything to her. Her granddaughter “Savy Jean” was her little princess, and entire world.

As she entered into her eternal home, we are sure she was greeted by the verse Matthew 25:23 “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”.

Nancy is lovingly survived by her children: Ken (Jen Baumann) Hyler III, Tracy (Keith) Hyler-Miller; first granddaughter, Savannah Hyler-Miller; oldest granddaughter, Paige Baumann; brothers: John, Clifford (Joyce), Leo, Jeff (Linda) Sundquist; sister, Marilyn (Bob) Deffibaugh; brothers-in-law, Mark (Connie), Kevin, Steve (Dawn), and Brian (Sarah) Hyler, Rob (Linda), Jeff, David (Beth), Paul (Kristine) Boegh, John Nigl; sister-in-law, Kathryn (Jim) Beck; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter, and Gladys Sundquist; husband, Kenneth Hyler Jr; brothers: Walter, Chuck, Gilbert Sundquist; great nephew, Dev Kline; mother-in-law, Martha (Richard “Danny”) Johnson; father-in-law, Kenneth (Lois) Hyler Sr.; sister-in-law, Karen Nigl.
