Patrick Henry Scanlan

Patrick Scanlan, age 70, of Oshkosh died on August 12, 2007 at Park View Health Center due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis. He was born in Green Bay to Thomas and Margaret Kane Scanlan. He married Rose Anhalt on August 1, 1959 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Manitowoc.After graduating from Denmark High School he served two years in the U. S. Army. On June of 1967 he received his Masters of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the Wisconsin State University, Oshkosh. He taught for the Oshkosh Area School System.Patrick was a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church and the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 17.He is survived by her wife, Rose; son, Craig; granddaughters, Amber and Kayla; sister, Jean (Larry) Rausch; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Mary.A private family service will be held. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Park View Health Center for the many years of dedicated care.
