Pauline Esselman, 96, of Oshkosh died Saturday, November 5, 2016, at her residence. She was born on February 20, 1920, in Center, ND a daughter of the late Kasper and Anna (Doll) Erhardt. She married Charles Esselman on October 7, 1947, in Mandan, ND and he preceded her in death on August 1, 1995.Pauline was a lifetime member of St. Josaphat Catholic Church and was active in the Rosary Society. She volunteered at the elementary school, while her children attended there and was an avid Packer fan. She enjoyed gardening and was a great baker.Pauline is survived by a daughter, Barbara Esselman of Oshkosh; a son, Peter (Jeanne) Esselman of Oshkosh; two daughters-in-law, Christine and Sandy Esselman; seven grandchildren, Tammy (Mark), Scott (Nickie), Patrick (Kim), Carrie, Kristi (Corey), Hannah (Derek), and Samuel (fiancee Desiree); nine great-grandchildren, Tyler, Joseph, Dylan, Reese, Alyssa, Drew, Talya, Logan, and Luther; and her four kitties, Yogi, Susie, Ricky, and Rodgers. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Charles Jr. and James Esselman; eight sisters, Monica, Bertha, Minnie, Rose, Clementine, Skip, Matilda, and Perpetua; and six brothers, John, Chris, Ralph, Connie, Max, and Joseph.A funeral service for Pauline will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside, Fr. Matt Simonar officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday at the funeral home from 3:30 p.m. until the service. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society would be appreciated.Paulines family would like to thank the staff of Home Instead Senior Care, especially Vicky, Jenn, Pat, and Carol for all their care and help over the past years.
