Peter Jacob Koeshall

Rev. Peter J. Koeshall, age 72 of Oshkosh, died on Thursday February 3, 2011 in Lindale, TX. He was born in Wisconsin Rapids on March 26, 1938, a son of Merritt and Ethel Jacob Koeshall. He married Janice Adamson in St. Paul, MN on August 11, 1961.Rev. Koeshall was a graduate of North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, MN. He invested his life in people. Rev. Koeshall served the Assembly of God Church in Siren, WI; the Evangelistic Temple in Nassau, Bahamas, and as Pastor at New Life Community Church. Upon retirement he was named Pastor Emeritus. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed hunting, fishing and backpacking in the mountains.Rev. Koeshall was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Janice Koeshall, Lindale, TX; two sons, John Koeshall, Tyler, TX; Jason (Jennifer) Koeshall, Lindale, TX; two daughters, Kathryn (Reynold) Mainse, Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada; Beth (Andrew) Batzner, Lindale, TX; his mother, Ethel Koeshall, Wisconsin Rapids; two brothers Paul (Ann) Koeshall, Alpine, CA; John (Anita) Koeshall, Brussels, Belgium; two sisters, Karen (David) Kingsriter, Nixa, MO; Ruth (Joe) Bruckert, St. George, UT; and seven grandchildren, Rachelle Mainse, Elizabeth Mainse, David Peter Mainse, Benjamin Batzner, Jacob Koeshall, Sophia Koeshall and Alexander Koeshall. He was preceded in death by his father, Merritt Koeshall.Funeral services will be held at New Life Community Church on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Arden Adamson officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to the time of service. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
