Petronella Schilcher

Petronella Pat J. Schilcher, 79, of Oshkosh died Thursday June 5, 2008 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born April 12, 1929 in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Albin and Florence Lemieux Janiak. Petronella married Clifford Schilcher on June 4, 1955 in Oshkosh. Petronella was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament-St. Mary site, where she was active in many church activities. She also volunteered at many places, including the Senior Center, the Knights of Columbus, the Catholic Knights, and for Rockwell Int. retirement dinners. Petronella enjoyed bowling and was a very skilled at knitting and crocheting. She is survived by her husband, Clifford of Oshkosh; three sons, Robert (JoAnne) Schilcher of Pickett, Michael (Paula) Schilcher of Oshkosh, Timothy (Barbara) Schilcher of Oshkosh; two daughters, Sandra Schilcher of Port Washington and Victoria (Matthew) Hibsch of Oshkosh; eight grandchildren, Andrew, Nathan, Daniel, Joseph, Phillip, David, Jonathan, and Hallie; three brothers, Raymond (Audrey) Janiak of Omro, Richard (Shirley) Janiak of Omro, and Daniel (Lorraine) Janiak of Ripon; a sister, Angela Shew of Oshkosh; a close friend and sister-at-heart Aggie Habeck; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Marjorie and Clarence Simmet and a brother-in-law Clifford Shew. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament (St. Mary Church-605 Merritt Ave), Father James Jugenheimer officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the service with a rosary to be said prior to the mass. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.Your quiet example taught us the importance ofCourage and grace and kindness,days with laughter, life with love.You will always be our Angel.
