Phillip W. Giese, 50, of Oshkosh lost the battle to cancer on Saturday June 10, 2006. He was born March 2, 1956 in Fond du Lac, a son of Alvin and Eldora Giese. Phil married Patricia Reichenberger on July 8, 1995 in Van Dyne.Phil graduated from Horace Man High School in Fond du Lac in 1974. He was employed at N&M Transfer in Neenah for 17 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, four-wheeling, and all animals. He enjoyed spending time with his special friends and family at Gieses Store in Van Dyne. He is survived by his wife, Patti, son, Andre, step son, Nick Drexler, god daughter, Angela special friends, Bryan Kunde and Jason Kollmann, two sisters, Kim Giese of Van Dyne and Sharon Walter of Fond du Lac, brother, Ron (Elena) Giese of Van Dyne, father and mother-in-law, Gilbert (Leona) Reichenberger of Oshkosh, brothers-in-law, Gib Jr. (Laurie) of Oshkosh, Ronald of Oshkosh, Thomas (Jenny) of Neenah, Daniel (Julie) of Van Dyne, Mark (Mary) of Oshkosh, and Peter (Tina) Reichenberger of Pickett, sisters-in-law, Lois Giese of Colorado, Ann (Brian) Albrecht of Black Wolf, Judy (Mark) Lloyd of Oshkosh, and Mary Reichenberger of Oshkosh. Phillip is further survived by nephews, Andrew, John, Cory, Jesse, Richard, Robbie, Adam, Jason, Mitch, Kyle and Vladymyr; nieces, Dawn, Amy, Katie, Candi, Vicky, Angie, Lynette, Jodi, Holly, Becky, Stephanie, Lindsay, Mindy and Corrine; aunts, Loretta Miller of Ripon, Elaine Albrecht of Van Dyne, Arlene Albrecht of Eldorado and Clara Baerwald of Oshkosh; uncles, Marvin Albrecht of Van Dyne and George (Marilyn) Albrecht of Rosendale; his dog, Angel and cats, Abbey, Nala, Morka and Olivia. Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Arthur and Eldora Henrietta (Albrecht) Giese and a brother-in-law, James Reichenberger.Services for Phil will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home ? Westside at 7:00 p.m. with Fr. Bill Van de Kreeke officiating. Family and friends may call at the Lake Pointe Drive funeral home from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. when we will then proceed to St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery in Nekimi for burial. A memorial will be established.
