Ralph A.Bartelt, 98, of Montana and Arizona, formerly of Oshkosh, died Monday April 29, 2013 in Polson, MT. He was born October 21, 1914 in Kennan, WI a son of the late Henry and Clara (Tiegs) Bartelt. He married Mildred Hall on November 18, 1936 in Medford, WI and she preceded him in death on May 28, 1997. He then married Hazel Coppedge on August 7, 1998 in Idaho.Ralph had worked at Rockwell Int. for many years retiring in 1975. He was a charter member of Bethel Baptist Church, where he was a past church treasurer, deacon, and head of the church bus ministry. He enjoyed watching sports and traveling.Ralph is survived by his wife, Hazel of Polson, MT; a daughter, Laurel (Jim) Blair of Leander, TX; three sons, Bryan (Carol) Bartelt of Neshkoro, Jan (Janet) Bartelt of Sartell, MN, and Loren (Joyce) Bartelt of Lakeville, MN; a step-daughter, Judie Woodhouse of Polson, MT; a step-son, Robert Woodhouse of Kalispell, MT; seven grandchildren, Jodi (David) Mrstik of Oshkosh, Scott (Heather) Bartelt of Omro, Jill Bartelt of Oshkosh, Julie (Sean) Session of Richfield, MN, Jon (Susan) Bartelt of St. Joseph, MN, Ty (Thea) Blair of Salt Lake City, UT, and Jeremiah (Suzie) Blair of Cedar Park, TX; eleven great-grandchildren, Nathan (Holly) Mrstik, Chad Mrstik of Oshkosh, Amber Mrstik of Oshkosh, Kobe Session of Richfield, MN, Alex, Jacob, Joshua, Mathilda and Isabella Bartelt of Omro, and Ashley and Abigail Blair of Cedar Park, TX; and a great-great-grandson, Bryce Mrstik. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Debra Bartelt; four sisters, Althea Lee, Noreen Haroldson, Linda Rafko, and Arleen Minks; and a brother, Elmer Bartelt.A funeral service for Ralph will be held Friday May 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at River Valley Church (1331 High Ave. Oshkosh, WI), Rev. Neil Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.In memory of Ralph a memorial is being established to Camp Forest Springs.
