Raymond “Ray” A. Breitzman, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born on September 15, 1944, to the late Harold and Adele (Boehmfeld) Breitzman.
Ray serviced in the Airforce starting on December 1963. He received training and additional schooling in Amarillo, Texas. He was sent to Naha Airforce Base in Okinawa with the 82nd Fighter Squadron where he made repairs on aircrafts damaged in the Vietnam War. Ray received his honorable discharge in December 1967. He then lived in Oak Creek, WI. Ray worked for 30 years at the Chocolate House in Milwaukee, WI. He loved his job there so much. He enjoyed drag racing and Nascar. He loved his sports, especially basketball and college football. He retired and moved to Oshkosh, WI to be close with his brother and family. He worked during the EAA AirVenture, where he enjoyed working with airplanes once again. When he wasn’t working at EAA, he would park by the airport to watch the shows. He is greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Ray is survived by his sister, Joann and sister-in-law, Linda Breitzman. He was further preceded in death by his brothers: William “Billy Bob” Breitzman, Glenn Breitzman and sisters, Gloria and Barbara.
