Rhea Jean Wollangk

Rhea J. Wollangk, 93, of Oshkosh, died on Thursday, October 6, 2011, at her residence. She was born on July 5, 1918 in Oshkosh the daughter of Theodore and Leona Ganzer Last. She married Elmer Wollangk on August 23, 1941 in Oshkosh. Elmer preceded her in death on March 2, 1972. Rhea was a life long member of Wesley United Methodist Church.Survivors include three daughters, Edith (Daniel) Conner of Waukesha, Janet (Bruce) Redeker of Waupun, Linda (Randy) Pribek of Oshkosh; two sons, Edward (Susan) Wollangk of Oshkosh, Richard (Annie Laurie) Wollangk of Oshkosh; one brother, George (JoAnn) Last of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Kathryn and Christina Connor, Brent, Bradley, and Laura Redeker, Deidre and Andrew Pribek, Jason (Amy) and Jeffrey Wollangk, Rebecca (Troy) DeVoe and Ryan (Rachel) Wollangk; four great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Wollangk of Oshkosh; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; sister, Ruth Baier; and one granddaughter, Melissa Wollangk-Davis.The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) with the Rev. Jakes Voker officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. and on Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.A memorial to Wesley United Methodist Church has been established.Rheas family would like to extend special thanks to all the home health care givers and the Aurora V. N. A. Hospice.
