Richard Arden Sprague

Richard A. Sprague, 63, of Omro, died Monday April 7, 2008 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born on December 14, 1944 in Oshkosh a son of Kenneth and Evelyn Randall Sprague.He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a maintenance supervisor at Armstrong Blum Manufacturing Co. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trips to Canada, spending time with his son, Josh, his dog, his friends and family and fixing things.He is survived by his son Josh Sprague of Montana, one brother Melvin(Mary) Sprague of Eldorado, one sister Joanne(Eugene) Klein of Van Dyne, three nieces Deb(Mike) Schmalzer, Leesa Warhner, Christina(Mike) Marquart-Slad, two grandnieces Bambi Boyle, Hannah Slad, grandnephew Michael Kurtz, his ex-wife Jill Sprague of Oshkosh, his best friends Clayton Wellman, Al Schultz, Jack Kubiak, Wally Boris, and Hal.He was preceded in death by his parents one brother-in-law Jeff Schneeberger, and mother-in-law Martha Johnson.A Celebration of Richards Life will be held on Sunday April 13, 2008 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside at 5 p.m. with Eulogies provided by Richards family and friends. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.A memorial has been established.Richards family would like to thank Dr. Blaha and the staff at Aurora Medical Center ICU.
