Richard August Ludwig

Richard Dick A. Ludwig Jr, 68, of Oshkosh died Friday, December 2, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center. Born July 17, 1937 to Richard and Ruth (Buettner) Ludwig in Oshkosh. On February 16, 1963 Dick married Suzanne Hintze in Oshkosh.Dick worked in route sales for Wonder Bread for 35 years. He served his country in the Army Reserves. Dick was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the churchs choir along with being a past counsel president for the church. He was an EAA volunteer, a Green Bay Packer stockholder, an avid Wisconsin sports fan, and a supporter of the Southwest Football Club- Oshkosh.Dick is survived by his wife Suzanne of Oshkosh; sons Richard III Rick (Sarah) Ludwig, and Jason Ludwig both of Oshkosh; daughter Renee (Tom) Bell of Oshkosh; grandchildren Heather, Sarah, Crystal, and Mason Bell; brother David (Judy) Ludwig of Tempe, AZ; sister Phyllis (James) Rasmussen of Tucson, AZ. Dick is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Eileen (James) Bronson of Oshkosh, Mary Ila Hintze of Fond du Lac, Eugene (Joyce) Hintze of Oshkosh, Neil (Rita) Hintze of Oshkosh, Keith Hintze of Green Bay, Gerald (Carol) Hintze of Oshkosh, Joanne Schlichting of Hermitage, TN, Dennis Hintze of Menasha, Judy (James) Wollangk of Fort Atkinson, and Glorianne (Dennis) Mattison of Thompson, IA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Richard is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Ruth; his father and mother-in-law Walter and Cecilia Hintze; and brother-in-law Milton Hintze. Funeral service for Dick will be Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Eric Quinney-Burnard officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Memorials to Christ Lutheran Church are appreciated.
