Richard Francis Brewer

Richard F. Brewer 71 of Oshkosh, died at Mercy Medical Center on Friday June 26, 2009. He was born in Adams Friendship, WI on May 17, 1938, a son of James and Addie Fennimore Brewer.Richard retired from the Leach Company in 1987. He was an outdoorsman who fished and hunted, enjoyed woodworking, playing pool and spending time with his grandsons. He was a former member of Central Wisconsin Auto Collectors Club and the Springbrook Sno-Mobile Club.Survivors include his son, Steven (Beth) Brewer, Oshkosh; daughter, Amanda (John Peterson) Brewer, Oshkosh; two grandsons, Rey and Aiden Brewer, Oshkosh; former wife Donna Kertis, Oshkosh; two brothers, John (Lillian) Brewer, Oshkosh; Barry Brewer, Montello; two sisters, Mildred (Roger) Boye, Oshkosh and Jenette Oestreich, Oshkosh; two sisters-in-law Judith Brewer, Omro and Vivian Brewer, Hancock. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Jake, Donald, George, Edward and Lawrence Brewer. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 1, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside, with Rev. Nathan Ericson officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00am to the time of service. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established.
