Richard Steven Rosenau

Richard Rick Rosenau, 69, of Oshkosh, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 28, 2013. He was born on January 21, 1944 in Oshkosh the son of John and Ione Abraham Rosenau. He married Sharon Schlaack on August 18, 1962 in Winneconne. They spent 51 Happy!!!!!! years together.Rick retired after 32 years of employment at Rockwell. He enjoyed golf, bowling and playing pool with his friends. Rick was a fix-it man Jack of all Trades and Master of None. After his retirement he and Sharon wintered in Florida and traveled throughout the US. Survivors include his wife, Sharon; son, Derrick (Julie) Rosenau of Neenah; daughter, Brenda Rosenau of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren, Keith Stadtmueller, Cassandra and Jessica Carey and Jordan Lickes, and his canine friends, Pip, Buddie, Zowie and Jenner.He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Rosenau.The funeral service will be on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) with the Rev. Karen Jewell officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Internment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
