Robert C. McAuley, 81 of Oshkosh, died at Mercy Medical Center on Friday, November 17, 2006. Bob was born in Oshkosh, on February 14, 1925, a son of the late Tracy and Winnifred Anderson McAuley.Bob was a Naval veteran, serving his country during WWII. He had been employed by the Hoffmaster Company. He attended Community Church. Bob enjoyed time in the outdoors hunting deer, raising and showing pigeons. Survivors include two sons, Mark McAuley, Oshkosh; Shawn (Fiance Melissa) McAuley, Oshkosh; two daughters, Judy Hoffman, Dell City, OK; and Lynn (Warren) Jones, Oshkosh; the mother of his children, Lorraine McAuley, Oshkosh; nine grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean (David) Martin, Omro, and the love of his life and mother of his children Lorraine McAuley. He was preceded in death by, one brother John McAuley, and one sister Patricia Sheveland, one nephew Dan Martin, and a brother-in-law, Bernie Hoffman.Private memorial services were held at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, with Pastor Alan Cleveland officiating. Inurnment followed at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established.But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.
