Robert Henry Moser

Robert H. Moser, age 98, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Evergreen Retirement Community. He was born on March 20, 1917, son of the late Benjamin and Lydia Moser in Oshkosh. He was married for 71 years to his beloved wife, Lorraine Marx and they lived in Oshkosh their whole lives. She preceded him in death on December 18, 2013.Robert worked for Miles Kimball as an Assistant Personnel Manager. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church all his life. He volunteered at EAA and Evergreen for many years with his wife Lorraine. He enjoyed golfing and traveling, especially to Florida and Arizona in the winter months. Bob was also a member of the city council for 17 years and was Council President 1969-1970.Robert is survived by his daughter: Carol Young of Peachtree City, GA; daughter-in-law: Suzanne Moser of Wauwatosa; four grandchildren: Jaime Moser, Laura (Kevin) Stier, Jennifer (Harold Bodden) Young, and Greg Young; five great-grandchildren: Brianna Moser, Hannah Stier, Norah Stier, Lucy Stier, and Skyler Bodden, and sister: Bernice Zezula of Santa Monica, CA. He is also survived by his adopted son: Samuel (Sandy) Muinde.Robert is further preceded in death by his parents; son: Bob Moser, and sister: Loretta Hathcox.Funeral services for Robert will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Evergreen Retirement Community (1130 N. Westfield St.) with Fr. Chris Arnold officiating. Visitation will be held at Evergreen from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Evergreen Retirement Community or Trinity Episcopal Church. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Evergreen for all the love and care they provided Bob and Lorraine throughout the years.
