Robert J. Beese

Robert J. Beese Sr. age 84, passed away on March 29, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on October 9, 1931 in Wausau the son of the late Herman and Viola (Tapper) Beese. Bob was united in marriage on December 22, 1953 to Mildred Alderson in Corpus Christi, Texas. Bob proudly served our country in the Navy from August 1952 until July 1956. He was employed at WPS for over 30 years. Bob loved being outdoors and watching sports. He was an avid reader enjoying mysteries, history and biographies. Bob had a love of pets especially his dog, Buster.Bob is survived by two daughters: Karen Schuhart and Deanna (Gary) Lichtfuss both of Oshkosh; two daughters-in-law, Renee and Maggie Beese; 15 grandchildren: Robert (Melissa) Griswold, Diedre and Jim Kunz, April, Rikki and Randal Beese, Robert and Roger Schuhart, Justin (Autumn) Beese, Zandra (Joshua Dorn) Kopitsky, Cole (Dominique) Smigelski, Mitchell, Haylen and Lydia Cartwright and Chi Selenka; numerous great-grandchildren; one brother, William (Judy) Beese of Madison. He is further survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mildred who preceded him in 2008; four sons: Robert Jr., Richard, Roger and Randal; and step-daughter, Dorothy.Memorial service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Eastside, 402 Waugoo Ave. with Father William Van DeKreeke officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park with Military Honors.The family would like to thank Mercy Medical Center ICU and Parkview and all the staff that helped with Robert during his stay. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
