Robert "Jazzy Bob" Koch, age 49, of Oshkosh, formerly of Chicago, IL. passed away unexpectedly Sunday August 9, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on September 29, 1959 in Chicago a son of MaryAnn and late Joseph Koch. On June 17, 1989 in Oshkosh he married Judith Gradl and moved to Chicago until 2000 when they moved back to Oshkosh, a place they always called home.He was a Union Pipefitter for 23 years and enjoyed fixing and restoring cars especially muscle carsHe is survived by his wife Judith, mother MaryAnn of Chicago, three sons Kelley, Daniel, both of Oshkosh and Aaron of Texas, two sisters Gayle Boettger of Chicago Ridge, Tracy Koch of Chicago, one niece Kylie Boettger, one nephew Vinnie Boettger, two granddaughters Jenna Wallen, Kimberly Wallen both of Texas, his grandmother Katherine Koch, mother and father-in-law Leona and John Gradl, and sister and brother-in-law Debra and Patrick RyanHe was preceded in death by his father.A memorial service for Robert will be held on Thursday August 13, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside with Rev. William Van DeKreeke officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.Robert will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends and all who knew him.
