Roger Theodore Paulus

Roger Theodore Paulus, age 73 of Oshkosh died on Monday, October 11, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Wausau, WI on May 14, 1937 a son of the late Theodore and Clara Swanson Paulus. On October 27, 1962 he married Ria M. Strabel in Oshkosh.Roger had been employed by Guernsey Dairy Company and retired from the Oshkosh School System as a Custodian at Webster Stanley School. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Roger loved gardening, traveling and also enjoyed the sports of boxing, hunting and fishing.Survivors include his wife, Ria of Oshkosh; his sister, Marie Graef of Richfield; his nephew, Dale Graef of Richfield and his niece, Carol (Paul) Purgett of Jackson, WI.Funeral services for Roger will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Peace Lutheran Church (240 W 9th Ave - Oshkosh) with the Rev. Nancy Krueger officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. to the service time. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial in Rogers name is being established.
