Ronald C Bennett II, 42, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully Thursday December 22, 2011 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, WI. He was born at the hospital in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, the son of Ronald and Iris (Jungwirth) Bennett. He attended Lourdes Academy his Freshman & Sophmore years and Oshkosh North High his Junior and Senior years graduating from North High in 1987. He attended Rockford Community Collage in Rockford, Illinois for 2 years.He is survived by his Mother, Iris (Michael Williams) Bennett, Sacramento, CA; Father, Ronald C Bennett, Omro, WI; Son, Samuel James Sosa Bennett, Oshkosh, WI; Step Brother Leon (Sarah)Williams, Sacramento, CA; Paternal Grandmother, Betty Bennett, Omro, WI; Aunts and Uncles, Sharon Hebert, Oshkosh, WI, Caroline & John Overzet, Fond du Lac, WI; Ken (Chi Whitemarsh) Jungwirth, Winneconne, WI; Amy & Terry Hathaway, Oshkosh, WI; Irene Jungwirth-Campbell, Winneconne, WI; MaryJane Jungwirth, Winneconne, WI; David (Julie) Schmude, Oshkosh, WI; Jeffery Bennett, Eau Claire, WI; Michael Bennett Oshkosh, WI; Mary VanBuren, Sacramento, CA; Amos (Carolyn) Williams, Sacramento, CA; Annice (Alfred) Porter, Sacramento, CA; Maurice Bailey, Sacramento, CA. Many more relatives and wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Clarence Bennett, Maternal grandparents James and Dorothy Jungwirth, his uncle Donald Jungwirth. Ron was very sports orientated. He was a Golden Gloves Boxer State Champion for 3 years. He loved to play, watch his son play and umpire baseball, play golf, bowl (including a Nationally Sanctioned 300 game) and collect sporting memorabilia. He much enjoyed watching the Green Bay Gamblers Hockey team, where the last game he attended he was taken into the locker room to meet the team and coaches. He was given 2 hockey pucks that had been used in warm ups that evening and a hockey stick that was autographed by the team and coaches. Per Rons wishes there will be no funeral but a party to celebrate his life next summer at a park in Oshkosh, where he wants everyone to wear a sports jersey or shirt.
