Ronald Dale Greenlaw

July 2, 1915 — June 14, 2010

Ronald Greenlaw was born July 2, 1915 to Frederick and Louise Ristow Greenlaw. He married the love of his life Blanche Ruth Hayes on August 19, 1939. They didn't spend a day apart in over 70 years. Together they enjoyed family above all. They had numerous foster children and then finally two of their own, Susan and Robert. Ron was always there to help anyone who asked. Any activity or organization he involved himself in, he went the extra mile. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church serving in many different facets. He was an Indian Guide Leader and active in Scouts, making the first area pinewood derby race track. He enjoyed designing and building both his home and cottage. He also enjoyed fishing, boating, swimming, exercising, and fixing everything. He was a champion ice boat racer. Ron also water skied into his 80's. He retired from Rockwell International after 36 1/2 years where he received an award for designing a safety mechanism for his machine. Above all, Ron loved spending time with his family-especially at his cottage. He was a devoted husband, sibling, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife Blanche, his son Robert(Linda Seibel) Greenlaw, one daughter Susan(Ken) Haidlinger of Oshkosh, two brothers William(Lois) Judkins, Leonard Judkins, grandchildren Shanda(Shaun Malek) Hubertus, Scott Hubertus, Tina Greenlaw, Amy Greenlaw, Dawn, Zachary, Kimberly, Alyssa, Alex, Austin Haidlinger, great-grandchildren Jassmine Schmidt, extended family John Hubertus and Le Anne Greenlaw.
