Ronald Henry Deising

Ronald H. Deising, 78, of Oshkosh, died on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his home. He was born on June 10, 1934 in Oshkosh the son of Henry and Margaret Fredrick Deising. On May 9, 1980 Ron married Donna Bartels in Oshkosh. Ron retired from Hoffmasters after working there for many years. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, hunting, grilling, picnicking and building model sailing ships. He went to many auto shows and liked going to the casinos. Ron treasured his tools and truck and loved being the prankster.Survivors include his wife, Donna; sons, Ed Thompson of Oshkosh, James Deising of Pisgah Forest, NC, Daniel (Tammy) Deising of Oshkosh; daughters, Victoria (Bill) Luker of Pembine, Kathy Crooks of Oshkosh; sister, Maureen Jones of Sarasota, FL; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Carol Deising of Oshkosh, Betty Deising of Florida; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ronald was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Jr. and Paul Deising; sister, Mary Ellen Deising; brothers, Richard and Jack Deising; brother-in-law, Howard Jonsey Jones; and a nephew, Robert Deising.The funeral service will be on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 1:30 pm at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) with Chaplin Cathy Vander Velden officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.The Deising family would like to thank Rons friends and neighbors for all their help during this time of need and the Aurora Visiting Nurses caregivers, Shelly, Jean and Amy for the compassionate care they gave Ron.
