Ronald J. Eichman

Ronald J. Eichman, 66 of Oshkosh, died unexpectedly on Thursday February 3, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Oshkosh on January 28, 1945 son of Burton and Cecilia (Demler) Eichman. On August 13, 1975 he married Candace Leadingham in Oshkosh. Ron had served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve from 1963-69. He had served on the Oshkosh Police Dept. from 1967 retiring as a lieutenant in 1998. After retirement, Ron drove bus for Kobussen Bus Company part-time. He was a current Winnebago County Board Supervisor. Ron was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Parish. Ron is survived by his wife, Candace Eichman of Oshkosh; sons, Christopher (Suzanne) Eichman of Marshfield, WI, and their children, Alexis and Dalaney; and Timothy (Tara) Eichman of Oshkosh and their children, Ethan and Estelle; brother, Neal (Sue) Eichman of Oshkosh; sisters, Nancy (David) Nimke, Barbara Nimke, and Paulette Noe all of Oshkosh; sisters/in/law, Dana (Martin) Marino of Exton, PA, and Sheila (Lee) Kation of Oshkosh, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service for Ron will be conducted on Tuesday February 8, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside with Deacon Robert Penzenstadler officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.Good Enough!
