Rosemary Ona Wellman

Rosemary O. Wellman, 70 of Oshkosh, died Thursday April 16, 2009 at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation. She was born in Minnesota on April 28, 1938 daughter of Otto and Mabel Johnson Jahnke. She married Clayton Wellman on August 8, 1959 in Oshkosh.Rosemary was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and belonged to the Grace Circle. She had been employed by Burger King and Planeview Travel Plaza. She was known for her apple squares, pie crusts, and donut holes.She is survived by her husband, Clayton Wellman of Oshkosh; son, Mark (Marisabel) Wellman of Slinger,WI; daughters, Cheryl (Scott) Hendrix of Oshkosh, Tammy (Shane) Treichel of Appleton, Beth Freund of Oshkosh, and Debra Wellman of Oshkosh; sisters, Lorna Hedstrom and Irene Morse both of Alexandria, MN; mother/in/law, Frieda Wellman of Oshkosh; brother/in/law, Douglas (Catherine) Wellman of Oshkosh; six grandchildren, Ashley and Justin Freund, Valerie Wellman, Derek, Aaron, and Nicole Treichel. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Erna Ackerman Janke; brothers/in/law, Quinton Hedstrom and Cliff Morse; and father/in/law, Gerhardt Wellman.Her memorial service will be on Sunday April 19, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside with Rev. Gregg Schoeneck officiating. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Memorials may be given to the Grace Lutheran Church or Winnebago Lutheran Academy. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staffs of Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation and the Aurora Medical Group.Mom is now dancing with the angels.
